How old do u need to be the work at a car dealership as a sales rep? |
I applied for a job at a local dealership as a sales rep. They called me, but I missed it. Before I call 'em back, I want to know the age requirement to work at such a place and will I need a driver's license to work there? Thanks Yes, you will need a driver's license and valid insurance. At most dealership, you must be at least 21, but some wil hire as young as 18. Source(s): I have been selling cars for 7+ years well I think! as long as you are in a legal age to work in your country. It is not the age that matters as a sales representatives rather; it is how sweet your tounge is, meaning if you are a good talker, people will believe and listen to you, convincing them is the main game. To work as a sales rep? Please! All you need to work there is just a high tolerance of taking "no" for an answer because anyone who gets involved in a sales nature will have to have that. Have i ever worked in auto sales? No. But i know enough to know that you don't need any formal education to do something like sales. You also need to face the fact that when you are dealing in sales, it means commission only. So the only way to make money is to actually sell the product and if you're not making any money for the company, you're gone. Plain and simple. I've done sales in other companies and they didn't last for anywhere from 2 to 4 days. Just thought i'd give you the heads up! They usually hire those who are over 18. 18 usually 21. Sometimes older, they do not like to hire younger people. check the below link its good http://workathomedatentryworks.blogspot.... . |
