How can i be a better sales person? |
mobile phone sales I've only been looking here on marketing and sales since last night, and I've seen this question six times already. I wish I had something ready to cut and paste from the last 4 times I answered. I'll try and sum it up neatly by saying "STUDY YOUR CRAFT!" Read, get involved in a mentorship situation, Learn your product inside out, AND your competitors inside and out. Source(s): zipper sell em!! ask questions and uncover what the customer wants and you can then fulill that need. Just throwing out features of a phone they don't want just frustrates them. Ask them what they are looking to do and then show them what they want. Once you satify all their needs there is no reason to say no to you Never try to sell the most expensive first, always pick up a middle of the road one, then the cheapest, then finish with the most expensive. Ask the people what they want. What was good and bad about their last phone / plan What they're looking for. Do they want the latest / coolest, or just basic, low-end. Ask permission before you start showing them all the stuff in the display - say "would you like to see the phones?" Take time to explain the plan options, ask for questions. Ask them what worries they have. Build friendship with people. Be friendly and genuine. Look for the persons best interest. It will show and you will be successful. Good luck |
