Sales Position with a Medical Staffing Company??? |
A medical Staffing company wants to interview me for a Sales Position. Has anyone worked in a similar job? I have no idea what I would be doing. It is Salary plus Commission, but they seem a little eager to get me in. Is this a high turn-over job or something? Most likely you would be selling medical equipment or medicine to doctors offices or hospitals. This is not an easy job and if you have never done sales before I don't know if I would start with a company like this one. Plus find out what the salary is and the % of commission is because you can't count on the commission. You will either be on the phone cold calling or traveling which you have to think about the price in gas and wear and tear on you vehicle. I pray the best for you. NO NO NO SALES....NO NO NO COMMISSION. It never pans out the way they say it will. Good Luck A Medical Staffing company is probably recruiting nurses (which are in high demand), lab techs, billing specialist, etc... Before accepting the job, ask what kind of positions you will be recruiting or if you are supposed to find leads. I have spent 20+ years in the health care industry. I would be happy to help you further if I had more details. Health Care is a tough industry right now. Make sure you are clear of the expectations before accepting a position. http://www.AngieMilhous.com |
