Need more ideas to become a professional headhunter? |
I have currently just joined a headhunting firm and has been taught - 'mapping'. Which is basically learning to call into companies to pretend to find names of specific individuals. So I need to cook-up something like .. I'm a publication company wanting to issue our first magazine to all the 'Sales Manager' and try to get as much Sales Managers' names & contacts as possible. But I'm running out of ideas to call bluffs everytime I need to call a company. Anyone can help me with some ideas here?? The last bluff I used was pretending to be a student doing a thesis and needs some info from the Sales Manager and got some names & contacts there ..... I don't think I'm going to help you lie to people. How much do you make for each head on a platter that you deliver? Sorry, not going to help. I don't believe in these low tactics. And after you troll through my company, hire away my sales manager, I guess you are going to call me to present a new sales manager. There are so few good headhunters out there. The rest are scum. Retired HR Manager Why use BS to sell? Use your noggin and look up the company profile in the D&B database. You can try this one. if you're looking for prospects from XYZ company then google search the following exact term: @xyz.com You'll have to scour through tons of pages, but eventually people print their contact info in the wierdest places which end up coming out.
