I need some sales ideas!? |
I work for a large retail chain that sells donated items and we are looking for some creative sales ideas. We have tried the half off and buy one get one sales and our looking for something new. Anyone have any ideas. Thank you all! My Mom worked for a church that did the same thing. We would have brown grocery bags and they could fill a bag for $5.00. A mystery bag day would be fun. Have a brown bag full of Medium clothes sealed with an average retail price and size listed and sale it for only $10.00 for example. I saw a Goodwill Auction site on line that was really interesting. Maybe something along those lines and advertise it in the local paper. Utilize the word "Free." Rather than 50% off, say buy one get one Free. People are suckers for "Free." Every 30th customer at the purchase counter gets $5 credit off their purchase or on anything else in the store. Get word of mouth going. zipper |
