Phone pitch (sales gurus needed)? |
I'm working for a society that helps the mentally ill, ex offenders, low wage workers, single-mums etc enhance their job prospects, earning potential and increase employability. How should the phone pitch sound like in order for me to get an appointment? Start with determining the benefits to the employer, preferably tangible. Why should he or she hire and employ your candidates. I would also not expect to close on the first call but rather look at developing a dialogue. I would work on a low key introduction with the goal of forwarding or dropping off information. As in anything sales, it's a number game. The more contacts you make, the better your odds of closing. You might also want to look at developing contacts with other social agencies, churches and service clubs. Good luck. Source(s): 30 years sales and marketing, senior level. Look up www.buygitomer.com and read one of his books, the Sales Bibles would be the best choice. I can not answer this question as I do not have enough information. post more info and I will give you my take. Jeffrey Gitomer is probably the best author for this question. I believe you could look over the Sales Bible and grab three or four good openers and write them down. |
