Do I need a cover letter?

I am going to begin applying for pharmaceutical/medical sales jobs over the internet and was wondering if it is recommended to have a cover letter when applying over the internet?
Also, what information should be included in a cover letter to a pharmaceutical company?

If you are interested in pharmacy you have an education. Don't blow it. Get a pro to write your resume and cover letter.
I would just to be safe
I would
Yes I would. You should put your name, contact info, and what you are applying for.

Good Luck on the job!!
As someone who often review resumes, over the internet or hard copies, the cover letter is what I look at first. Resumes tend to be pretty much the same, it is the cover letter that sells it for me. So yes, I would definitely use a cover letter. :)
Yes you will need a cover letter.
Your cover letter can be part of the email with your resume attached. Very briefly state your interest in the position, why you would be an asset to the operation, and quantify your experience in the field. Close by asking for an appointment to interview. Also, don't waste much time applying unless the company has posted an open position. Unsolicited resumes usually go in the big black hole.
