Has anyone ever heard Joe Girard Speak? |
I have read 2 of his books and they are great. I am interested to know if anyomne has ever heard Girard speak live, or ever seen hois DVD set if so let me know details Joe Girard is still alive? He's was in the Book of World Records for 11 years streight as the "the world's greatest salesman." He sold Cheverolets in Chicago back in the 60s. I've heard his audio tapes. But I didn't think he was still around. He was the master at "word of mouth" marketing. Every time he sold a new car he'd stuff the glove box with his business cards. When the new owner showed off his car to his friends, there were always plenty of Joe's business cards to go around. He also had a system to send birthday and anaversary cards. In the 60's that was no easy task. Another great sales guide is Tom Hopkins. Either read his book or listen to his tapes (now CDs). Source(s): Been there. Done that! |
