How much will I make as a Sales Associate?

for a well-known company shoe store?...

per/hour..

ive only had 5+ months hospitality experience in a restaraunt but i have an interview coming up and i want to at least make $9..is that reasonable?
ill be closing/ handling cash/etc...

so far as my knkowledge is concerned $9 is a good rate so u should grab the opportunity & get/increase yr experience in this industry.

regards
You will make crap...probably minimum wage or a little more. You will work long hours and get a slight discount on apparel which will eat up your entire check. Good Luck!
you probably wont get nine dollars...five months isnt terribly much experience in the grand scheme of things, and it doesnt do much for you at all if your going from food to shoes. odds are they will offer you just slightly more than you made at your last job, so unless you were making $8.50 at your last job, your probably not gonna make nine dollars. im by no means trying to sound rude, its just how this stuff works
$9.00 is reasonable but you probably won't earn that unless you make commissions as well. If you want a job in retail, I would go to a jewelry store and apply. Most times they make hourly plus commission. I know for a fact that Kay Jewelers pays this way.
