Not the eye doctor, but the person who helps you pick out your glasses or you actually sit with about your frames, and lens. Do they get commission off the price you pay????

No the don't. I have asked at 2 seperate places in the last 2 years. Since the people that "help" you pick out your glasses - tend to annoy me because they always seem to be RIGHT THERE. So I ask them to leave me alone while I look and only call them over if I need to find a different size. Something that I can't find myself. They like to pretend they know what looks good on you and sell you the most expensive stuff but they don't REALLY KNOW YOU. 3 Weeks ago my husband and I spent $1800 at Lens Crafters. |
