What's the best day of the week for a sales meeting? |
What's the best day of the week for a sales meeting? Hehe. I personally hate Tuesday meetings. Everybody seems to want to have a meeting on that day. It can be overwhelming to get bombarded with so much info on one day. Then again, it really depends on your company. If you know there aren't alot of meetings going on, then go ahead. I like Thursday for sales meetings. You can analyze the week better and forecast anticipated weekend business. It's a good day to go over plans for the next week, so everyone can start off Monday on the same foot. tuesday, ppl arent just getting off their weekend so their back into the swing of things at work and its still early in the week so they will stay focused............good luck The best sales meeting are on Monday and Tuesday, avoiding peak hours. Concentrate on one objective. Short meetings are the best, because meetings that last more than 30-45 minutes will be disturbing to the customer's working time, become boring, and the meeting will be of less value and positive results. Wednesday. They are not too tired from the busy weekend or hung over and need to be there so they don't feel like fools going in on Thursday or Friday and it looks like they are their to receive their pay checks. Also on Thursday or Friday they are already planning their weekend. Being older and wiser. Monday-it gets people energized for the week ahead. If sales are declining I would recommend 2 meetings-one monday and one thursday not to exceed 1 hour each. Too many meetings are too long and have the opposite effect on what you want to accomplish for motivation of salespersons. Thursdays or Fridays - that way all the other guys who think Mondays and Tuesdays are good have already presented. You get to be the last one they see and think about over the weekend. |
