What bank details do you need to give your employer? |
i have just been given a job at a clothing store in the uk and they ask me for my bank details the next time i come in, but they weren't specific. account name and acount number im pretty sure this is for your salary and other compensations, to be directly deposited Account name Account number Sort code These are all in your cheque book. Bank sort code e.g. 30-10-10, Account number, Account name, Bank name and Bank street address. i've never heard of that be careful who you give your info to. maybe they meant your checking acct number so they can do direct deposit of your paycheck, but make sure They sometimes asj for a voided check that has all the info they need! The only time I heard of employers asking for bank information is when they do direct deposit, which means directly depositing your check in your account. The information they need is the bank name and the account number and the routing number which are located on the bottom of your checks. i think they mean your checking acct number and your bank routing number so they can do a direct deposit for your paychecks, these are both on the bottom of your checks. i dont see why they would need any other info other than that. |
