Sports marketers act as a Brand Manager and PR person for the team/event they are representing. They perform duties such as fan participation, group ticket sales, bus tours and charitable events. Daily activities will typically entail long hours of organizing, planning, and fundraising. Travel will probably be extensive, depending on what organization you are representing. Salary will be anywhere between $18K and $65K annually.
