Assuming you are in the UK, the best place is the JobCentre. Don't go to private employment agencies. I recently registered with two and I get no feedback from them and I see jobs they have on their books that I would be perfect for. They do not seem interested in finding me a job. Typical salesman! http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/... Internet. Most everyone has a web site now or at they least post jobs with the major sites. Other good places are state employment agencies which provide free placement, training, and career counseling. There's also newspapers and trade magazines. |
