Is there any jobs in the Jackson,Ms area that paids 40,000 and higher? |
Is there any jobs in the jackson,ms area that pays 40,000 and higher without having to be lawyer, doctor or dentist. Sales jobs always pay more than the average job no matter where you are. You don't have to have the typical used-car salesman attitude and personality to be a salesperson, but you do have to like talking to people extensively. You can also learn to be a salesperson on the job 鈥?you'll have to start at the bottom, but you'll get training and experience. And if you're good at sales, you can work anywhere. Pick an industry you're interested in (and don't just consider the obvious consumer sales jobs for cars, phones, TVs, etc., although you may have to start there to get the training and experience). Every thing you can name has to be sold and bought. There are sales people in every industry 鈥?if you have experience in one of them, that's a good place to start. Example: if you've worked in fast food, think of all the equipment in a restaurant 鈥?every single bit of it was sold initially through a salesperson. Think through all the industries where you have experience or interest and figure out where the sales happen, then find the people who do that and talk to them about their job. Often in the sales world it will be the contacts you make that get you a job where you can get training, practice, and mentoring 鈥?it's a very people-oriented field. School teachers make a lot more than people think. Try that. You can start at $32,000 minimum. Here's the salary schedule. http://www.hinds.k12.ms.us/filing/human_... |
