Becoming a sales representative?

If I'm aspiring to become a sales representative in the title company, what are some things I should work on (i.e. what kind of degree should I try to get, etc.). Thank you.

I believe that majoring in either business administration, communications, sales (if the school offers it), marketing, or public relations could really come in handy if that's what type of your career you're considering.

Be careful, though. That's an EXTREMELY competitive business. Try to stand out, and be the best that you can be.

Oh, and you will also need to have a strong background in the title business, as well (at least 5 years). Source(s): I was thinking about becoming a sales represenative for title insurance myself.
Accounting; finance; people skills; psychology; communication.
