If you were to choose between helping an accident victim or attending a business meeting that would announce your promotion, what would you choose? Please explain why. Help the accident victim. You would want help if it was you, wouldn't you? Life is precious and we need to protect it any way we can. I would assist the accident victim because it's the right thing to do. You could always call someone on your cell phone and explain why you are going to be late. Uh, the accident. I'm a paramedic so the accident victim would BE my job...and possibly doom my promotion if I ignore a patient. Whee. somehow I don't think a eulogy would say "she/he had a huge promotion and all we're happy". However I do think a eulogy would say "putting aside anything for herself, she immediately went to the accident scene to see if she could help" Help the victim |
