Marketing mix... distribution.? |
what are you supposed to include under Distribution for marketing mix.. and you're providing a service.. so you don't need any manufacturers... what are we supposed to write other than the fact we're doing direct sales? You should describe the critical issues regarding the service contact points: Where should the service be available? At residents? Shopping malls? Internets? Describe the location characteristics- traffic, ambient, competitors proximity. When should the product or service be available? Mention the time you're meeting your customers, the process (appointments, closing). Identify the lead time, from the start of customer solicitation to the service delivery) Should electronic methods of distribution be used? Would you offer your service on the internet? Would you use it to complement your sales effort? (ie appointments confirmation) Are there physical distribution and logistical issues to deal with? Some service are embodied service- saloons have shampoos to deal with, so you might want to identify the product that comes with your service and improvise. If there's any, what will it cost to keep an inventory of products on your shelves or storeroom? That's all i can work out with. Be careful, service is a delicate business, handle with loads of scrutiny! Good luck! |
