Is beer advertisements in electronic media banned in India?
yes it is, however you will still find the companies promoting their brand name by putting up the advt on different activities like promoting soda water, audio cassette etc
for eg: Mcdowells is a major mfg. of beer in India & it promotes its name in the electronic media by flashing the advt for Mcdowells soda water..this means that although explicity this has been banned but imlicitly companies are doing it
yes it is banned, but if you see mcdowels.1 still advertise there product but for soda, so that is how they do brand advertising.
