Can anyone tell me where to get stats for website hits? |
i.e. How many hits the Beijing Olympic's sites gets per day, but i want to find out other sites. Hope this helps BA sure did not read the question -- the asker was asking about stats of Beijing Olympic site, which obviously the can't use statcounter or Google Analytics because the asker does not control those sites Go to statcounter.com Unless a company or organization makes their stats public -- which almost everyone never does except for the newbies with visible web counters -- you will never know exactly the traffic other sites get such as Beijing Olympics However, there are companies that provide an estimate of the traffic. Here are some examples Alexa http://www.alexa.com Ranking.com http://www.ranking.com Note though that these sites provide only an indication of the traffic numbers, not the exact or even the accurate numbers. Alexa for example only compiles statistics from those who have downloaded the Alexa toolbar. |
