Selling secrets for ebay? |
I have been selling on ebay for a little while now and lately I havnt been selling much at all even though my stuff is name brand and I do my listings the same as before...and even a little better I think. I see other people with TONS AND TONS of bids on their stuff and I dont really think their listings look super great...there rather simple but they do have nice pictures. I saw one user selling GAP clothing and all 50 of her auctions had atleast 10 bids on each of them. Now I think Hollister, A&F, and AE is more popular than GAP...whats going on here? Is there some BIG secret to selling stuff? there are definitely tons of tactics that will make or break a seller, and they are hardly secrets. Here's one that's quite important: make sure your auctions don't finish at 10pm on a friday night or at 9 am on a sunday morning. They should end when people are more likely to be in the house, so when you analyze your competitors, see when their auctions end and do the same. There's plenty more tips, just buy 1cent ebooks on the subject and read them all. Here's a collection of links I used when I was selling on eBay, they can be useful to have http://www.ebookorama.com/quicklinks.htm... Your starting bid should always be 1 cent. This causes bidding wars and makes people return to your auction page several times to re-bid, as opposed to only bidding once at the end of the auction. is just the way it goes really .... your words and your pic's are your best chance and then the price and your feed backs... is just like any store or business some days are hot and some or not |
