We sell custom African American t-shirts what trade shows would be good to take our product.? I would say the same as the others, trade shows. Also, events that attract large numbers of African Americans like, R&B concerts, rap concerts, Historically Black College events (football, basketball games), the Essence Festival (I think is in New Orleans every year), Black Enterprise does some events as well, and check with your local African American elected officials. They could give you some leads on events that they attend or have heard about. Cultural Festivals are usually an annual event. Check with your tourism office. They may have a calendar of events for the year. The annual events should appear in there. Hope this helps you. Wow, I don't know about trade shows but we just had a Black Business Expo (that is the name) here in Indiana. You probably would have been a welcome site because a lot of families came along. Look also to see if in your Chamber of Commerce they have a trade show calendar. what about programs or companies that only do business with African American people? Tourist events perhaps....becides that national trade shows would be your best bet because people from all over the world bring their goods. |
