False Advertising In Auto Mart Magazine...?

There is a 2004 Mercedes Benz E-Class E320 for $9,988 in an Auto Mart magazine, which is a free magazine that can be found at any grocery store, but when I went to the dealership to look at the car it was priced at $32,988...is this false advertisement??? And if so would it be worth suing over to get the $9,988 price???

It's not worth the time and effort. Besides, a 2004 Benz for under $10K? Something should have told you something was either wrong with it, or it was a misprint. For it to be 'good to go' and for sale at that price, a sign on the windshild would sold that FAST!

If they had told you the car had been sold, but they have another car that is 'just right' for you, then you MIGHT......MIGHT have a case of bait and switch. Then you could report them to your state office that handles consumer affairs. THey would investigate the dealership to see if a case was there.

Good luck with finding a car.
more than likely not worth your trouble since im sure that somewhere in the magazine it states not responsible for misprint or errors...
THERE IS A WELLESTABLISHED LEGAL PRINCIPLE THAT ERRORS IN PRINT MEDIA CANNOT COMPEL THE AUTHOR TO COMPLY WITH THE OFFER.
