Does anyone have an idea for a fund raising meal besides a spaghetti dinner? |
It would be in August and take place outdoors. Doesn't even matter if we raise all that much money. We just need something fairly easy that will bring people into our tent. Our other idea was a taco bar. baked potato bar. Desserts. Strawberry shortcakes. Hamburgers, hot dogs, sloppy joes, BBQ, fried chicken, chips, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, cookies, brownies, cut up raw veggies, to name a few things. boritos ,or pizza, ! if you do a taco bar you should do nachos kids love them ;) goodluck Pancakes! They're a classic fund-raiser, and easy to make en masse. people love wings and theyre cheap. an ice cream social could make some good money too, but its not really a meal. may be good during the summer though. The local church does a chili cook-off. Competitors bring their own recipes, and a small fee gets a bowl, a spoon, and several tickets to get samples. The winner gets their name added to a plaque - but you can skip that.
