If you have recently left your job, was it because you did not feel welcome in your new city? |
If you have recently relocated to a new city and left that job within a few years, was it because you never felt welcome in that city? Hi There, I have worked as an expatriate before working in cities that is foreign to me and more often I start without knowing anyone in that city. Personally the cities have noting to do with me leaving it. It is usually the working conditions or looking for better opportunity. Ofice politics often play a major role for me leaving the job. I do not like office politics as I find it as a way to cover incompetancy. However when working with humans, expect it all the time. Having said that, I came across many friends who have left cities and countries due to many reasons. Some feel that they are out of place in their former cities. I feel that the choice to leave and the reason behind it is really the perogative of the person. After all its their life and their feelings. For what ever the reason can be, expect the new place to be different and never expect it to be perfect. Goold luck to you. I hope this helps you.
