I get at least 5 letters of junkmail a day. What do I do with it? |
Is it okay to throw away the letters without ripping them apart? I tried taking my address off the mailing lists, but I think that just put me on more mailing lists and now, I'm getting more junkmail than ever. I have purchased a paper shredder and have placed it by the front door. As i walk in with the junk mail, it goes right into the shredder! It also cuts down on mail clutter. recycle them, write on envelopes or backs of paper. Nothing you can do except recycle it! rip it up, put it in a paper grocery bag...then when the bag gets filled take it to a paper recycling bin Shred it. Recycle it. Line the bird cage Use it as insulation if you end up homeless (Just in case, nothing implied :-) ) Tear them in 4 pieces, and then throw them away. If you are worried about identity theft, get a shredder. That way if you have credit card offers, no one can use them. Make sure you shred everything that has your info on it. My wife and I pile them up on the table and shred them every friday or when we get a chance. Buy a shredder and get rid of them that way.Also great for shredding up any old invoices etc. with your info on it that you no longer need. |
