What is your tip on Marketing? |
Give your tip on marketing such as: -put $9.99 instead of $10 dollar to give the illusion of being cheaper. -Sell items higher price but making the customer believe he/she's buying it a good price. Do you know marketing is actually a noble activity? Marketers fulfil needs. http://iws.ohiolink.edu/moti/homedefinit... Needs of customers, not the marketer's. But, most of the time, people misuse it to rip the consumer off for their own benefit. If we strive for extreme profit by manipulating the information, we will just survive for a short time. In your first example, don't misjudge psychological tactics as unethics. Even though the price has .99cents quotation, it is still cheaper by 0.01 cent right? But for your second example, that is simply lying. Which is of course, unethic. Unless you obviously want to follow this route, you have to explain why it is more expensive. Its not a taboo selling something at a higher price, but you must justify it. If you cannot simply find any reason to charge higher, you are just lying. Which is good if you want to reap instant profit and hang your boot in the near future. Then again, its not marketing. It's because you are fulfilling your own needs. It's a legal scam. I dont think its wise to be that obvious these days. You didnt say what youre marketing, so from that standpoint its really hard to say my tip is to stay away from this "profession". every fukking commercial is a scam. poob 1 - 10 is much easier to say no illusions needed 2 - be as honest at all times - these days you will not get a good response because too many are hiding the truth let alone make any money. Tricking 'public' is clever but it all falls down due to all the lies told. If a product is good and is wanted it will sell itself - most marketing plans tend to turn out garbage at ridiculous high prices. There are more scandals in marketing than actual products changing hands. It is put up by professional thieves they expect you to be like them and even then they change the formula so it fits their crieteria and not yours. Its loose loose situation. Make your customers happy and they will do your marketing for you! If you are addressing "marketing" for online websites, then the answer is quite simple: "Marketing is prominence of one's online website on major search engines/directories since 85% of Internet surfers rely on search engines/directories for seeking and finding goods and services." Again, it's a fact that search engines/directories are the "Yellow Pages" of the Internet. And the "marketing" strategy is effective placement of metatags within webpage(s) according to search engine optimization ("SEO") algorithms. It's that simple. Good luck! |
