What is the ethical issues in collecting data from sources using marketing research?

To tell them enough information about the research, how their data will be used and how are they protected or how will they benefit ...and in the same time to keep the interests of your client by not revealing too much in order to prevent awareness in the answerer which compromises the results.
The ethical question is, how can you best use this information to benefit your client.

If you gathered the information honestly, the only ethical question is how can you best deliver that information to your client.
