I have an idea for an invention?


i have a brill idea to protect people from gettin their drinks spiked .who do i get in touch with please .. iv no drawing ,no protoplan no money (lol ..) but i beleave talkin to the right person will help.. but who?

Before you talk to anyone GET A PATENT. Otherwise, they can simply patent your idea themselves and you can't really do anything about it. Find a patent attorney (probably a couple hundred bucks) and they will take care of all of that. You'll need to provide a full description of your invention to them.

After that, they will also probably have suggestions as to who to talk to - there are many options available, depending on whether you want to license your product or start your own business. Good luck!

one option could be to contact your local police station or town hall... they might be able to forward you in the right direction of who to speak to. another is to type PATENT into your search engine and a whole load of different options come up. most of these you'll have to pay for but there are some where you pay something like 拢10 or 拢20 to submit your ideas (without actually telling them what it is) and they will give you feedback as to whether or not they think your idea may work. and whether or not they would help to fund your idea.
