Can anyone help me find the definitions for these words? |
1- full range sell (sale) 2- Complimentary sale 3- Fantasy sale Thanks a lot Most organizations attach their own definitions to words, so the following are generalizations. Full range would be the basic product, plus add-ons such as a product warranty contract. Complimentary sale would be a related item, such as a tripod, when the first item was a camera. Wal-Mart prices the basic item (a flowering plant) low, because they know most people will also buy gardening gloves, fertilizer, shovels, etc. as compllimentary items. A fantasy sale can be several things. Car dealers have expected prices, but report sales as 113% (car sold at 113% of expected price) or 95% (car sold at 95% of normal price). The 113% sale would be the fantasy sale, but automotive fantasy sales typically have high rates of repossession. A fantasy sale might also be a much higher priced item sold with the initial low priced item. Or, an office supply salesperson might go to a client expecting to fill an order for a new computer and end up selling 50 computers. Either would qualify as a fantasy sale. Beyond initial expectations. Example, a customer comes in inquiring about a garden hose, but ends up buying a $5,000 riding lawnmower. sorry couldn't find them. |
