Ask them to start again from teh beginning and to speak very sloooowly. Ask if they'll take Green Stamps instead of a credit card number. Say, "OMG, I recognize that voice! It's you! I've missed you so much! Please darling, let's not wait any longer to start our life together!" Works especially well if they are the same gender.
