Creative ways of advertising? |
I am looking to advertise in creative ways, any input would be appreciated, I am in the mortgage business and haven't had to go out and get business like I do now, I do have a list of all my past clients (I have been in the business a few years now) I want to know ways I can catch their attention because there is so much competition out there nowadays. Thank you. creative ads, nice catchy business cards... There are many ways to advertise, and your right, there is a lot of competition especially in real estate and other competitive careers. One is everything seems to be online now, creating a web site will give you more exposure and the possibility of gaining new clients through there. You also have an opportunity to show your past clients and showcase your work, or if your in real estate some of our current listings. Another way would be through an email marketing and such. You can use post cards to insure a high readership (research has shown that 99% of recipients read postcards) Design your post cards at a high level of professionalism...a corporate, authoritative feel. (The percieved value of the overall message of the card is judged instantly based on the design...if it looks cheezy and home made...it will be assumed that what you have to offer is also cheezy...your card goes in the trash) Grabbing their attention...I would pinpoint some aspect(s) of the mortgage arena where there are generally misconceptions by the public...or something that people are often in the dark about...and then feature the answer to that problem on your card. for example..."Demystify the myths of ARM financing" ...call for your free info...or see my exclusive step by step...on my website....or some such. If you know of a certain are of your city where commercial development is happeing, and the value of homes in the surrounding area are rising...do a mailing, and tell the people about that...and the benefits of refinincing to take advantage of new equity.
