Has anyone here been an extra?


has anyone here ever been an extra in a film or commercial before.. if so how can i get started?

I have, but it was by accident. I got a check for my face on film and adding "ambiance".
unfortunately, this has happened 4 times and you have a chance at getting calls(your number is on the release form) if you are "good".
The only way to do it like this is to walk around where movies are being filmed. Good locations are New York, LA, and Las Vegas. Maybe Miami, but no guarantee.
You might try submitting a letter of interest to studios and production agencies. That may work as well.
Go to search, and put in jobs for extra, or call this number 1-800-340-8404 ext 1019, they will give you information on how to become an extra.
