Graphics design question? |
i just got an assignment from my graphics design class where i have to design a t-shirt panel for front or back. the key demographic is 13-21 year olds. and it says the "topic" is "image is everything?" there are a few questions to answer and one of them is "write down what you perceive to be both positive and negative aspects of the topic" and "how can you incorporate these elements into your design?" what do those questions mean? examples would be good well, just think about it - for lots of kids that age, image is everything. Clothing in any form has to be just the right thing, give the right message, be the right shade of color and somehow tell everyone who passes you face to face, something imortant about yourself. Clothing is an expression of young people. No think - what can be bad about this? a. some parents can't afford the nice stuff so their kids feel unworthy and resentful - like they will never be good enough because they can't afford to wear XCVXjeans. and 200.00 shoes. On the other hand, how can one's image be reflectd in their clothing and style, hair, car, colors, shoes,\ even handwriting, in such a way that it becomes an expression - not an overstatement? |
