How important is shape (in a logo) in influencing and persuading your potential viewers? Shape and color are the two factors that matter most, followed by balance and typography. It ultimately comes down to what the company is about. If it is food based, red and yellow or yellow and green colors with simple eye catching shapes (think McDonald's or Subway). Money related, you want green based, sharp shapes. Etc. Research the psychological effects of color and shape at your local library or university and you will be able to use that knowledge to make an effective logo. My recommendation is go and hire a graphic artist to come up with a logo, they specialize in such things. Make sure to print up what your company is about, the artistic style you want (art deco, art nouvou, pop art, mondrian, op art, etc) if applicable, and what you want your logo to accomplish. well i would have to say it is a factor, it has to relate to the topic at hand, be memorable, and i find laughter is a good factor to consider, if you create a good feeling in your viewer, they will remember. hope this is helpful GOD Bless!
