A good thing persons question!

The Four 'P's of Marketing are 1)Product, 2)Place, 3)Price and 4)Promotion

鈥roduct, in your case, would be your services--having services that are useful; providing the right services for the marketplace.

鈥lace refers to location. Your actual physical location should not be particularly important, compared to that of a retailer. You may even go to clients' offices rather than have them come to your office. Sometimes being in a status office building is an advantage for your image. But it can also make people think you will be too expensive.

鈥rice is a factor in many people's decisions. They can't see your expertise. They can't see your insight. They can't see how your past experience will help you provide solutions for them. They can see price.

Sometimes if you are higher priced, people think that you must be better. But often, high fees will scare prospects away.

When people are making a decision to buy a service, they will make it based on how much they like you or trust you in addition to price.

鈥romotion, in this "4-Ps" summary, refers to all the marketing methods you use.

Four C鈥檚: 1)Company, 2)Competition, 3)Consumers, and Collaborators 4) Competitive Advantages

鈥ustomers Who is loyal to this firm and what do they care most about. What customers are we overlooking (new markets).

鈥?Costs Fixed and Variable; don鈥檛 get hung up on Sunk Costs. Be aware of the Relevant Costs for the decision at hand.

鈥?Competition Who鈥檚 eating our lunch? Who may take a bite out of our business
in the future? How will competitors react to any move we make?

鈥?Company Here on Planet Earth, what will this firm go for and what will they resist? (You can鈥檛 come up with a solution for GM that involves not-making cars and trucks.)

鈥?Competitive Advantages Patents, manufacturing expertise, supplier relationships, channel relationships, consumer awareness including brands.

With the Internet being added and soical networking have now started to give more added defination;0)
