I was told yesterday that I won a lottery from across the world in the amount of $500,000. I was told to give my name,address,etc. and these people would transfer the money from a Union Bank to my bank. I wasnt thinking I was just too excited and I gave these people my bank account info. and my telephone number. Then they told me by email and they called my home telling me if I could go to Nigeria to claim my award with documents, I would be able to get my cash award. I told them no because I dont stay in Nigeria and I never been there and I wouldnt know where I was to go if I did. Now im thinking to myself did I just make the biggest mistake of my life or am I really that 1 in a 1,000,000 lucky winners.If anyone been in this same situation or if u know if this is real or not - please let me know! This is not real,i won many lottery from many place, but this is not true because so many times i get some email.I'm so lucky,lol..... I put the myterious email to spam box. You made a mistake. You need to notify your bank asap because your balance could be depleted. are you serious?? its a total scam, you better close your bank account!! it was spam -- probably a scam as well call your bank ASAP and change your account numbers, all of them. lots on here ***scam*** ------------------------- All spam emails/unsolicted letters and faxes are scams. As a general rule - ANYTHING involving Western Union/money gram = Scam. my Advice: Don't deal with anyone from a foreign country or Accept checks from strangers and never use wire/bank transfer services.. you risk losing your $$ and your mind. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! NEVER give out your personal information to strangers online! Always be on guard. dude i get at least 10 of those emails everyday. i agree with the first guy - call your bank ASAP so you're not liable for anything they steal from you!! |
