Free traffic banner exchange anything can u help? |
i own the online auction site www.jtbids.com and i want to exchange banners with sites and generate free trafic can any one point me in the right direction Banner exchanges were a good source of traffic years ago, but, these days just like bulk traffic purchases, 99.999% of these programs deliver garbage. I'd be concentrating on branding, especially with a site such as yours. The last thing I'd want is to be associated to MLM sites or worse site that look sloppy or unprofessional. It's always been my view that if your expecting people to part with their money, then you need a site that gives confidence & says "we are trustworthy". Using a free banner exchange doesn't do this... If I say a banner exchange on a site like yours I'd be hitting the back button real quick!!! Please don't take offence to that, I'm merely stating that free banner exchanges are not what I'd be mixing or adding to my site. I'll assume that your marketing budget is pretty tight. However you don't need a fist full of dollars to get traffic to your site. If you really want to make a success of your site, my first stop would be learning to get some organic SE placements. Investing time into your site by SE optimisation (optimization) is going to be the real pay off for traffic acquisitions, which will also equal highly targeted traffic. The following needs to be fixed straight away: Title Tag: You've got 2 title tags. You only need 1. EG - <title> JT Bids</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <TITLE>JTBIDS NEW ONLINE MARKET PLACE</TITLE> Don't use all capital letters in you title... (JT Bids New Online Market Place) The same goes for your Meta Description Tag: <META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="LOW FEES FOR EVER REGISTER FOR FREE AND RECEIVE 拢10. BUY AND SELL ALMOST ANYTHING."> Lose the CAPS...You run the risk of being penalised, or worse some SE's may not even index you becuase of this!!! In regards to your Description: Use descriptive sentences. Try for no more than 25 word. Don't keyword stuff. What you want is to discribe your site in 25 words or less that would make people want to visit.
