How can I get signed by a record company? |
I have been promoting my music on myspace, but there are millions of artists on myspace . The best way is to make a demo, it doesn't have to have a lot of songs on it but it does need variety. Send it to the various radio stations (no they don't just throw them out) and get some air time. Also take it into clubs and get the DJ;s to play the demo. They will as long as you don't badger them to death. You can even send to various record labels who althought they get a ton of them do sample and listen to at least one song per tape. Now you don't get to pick what they hear, but who cares at this point. Get your demo tape out there........ You will have to send your message a lot of times, at least 10 times a day.
