What tasks are performed in marketing job? |
My friend said she is going to put out a word for me at her job which is with a cruise line. She said is going to try and get me a position in marketing but I don't know what is performed in marketing and I'm trying to fill out this part of my resume which is asking, "Briefly list interests that may pertain to the type of job you want." which would be marketing. There is this other part of the resume that says, "Briefly describe your career goal or ideal job.", I want to write something so that I can get any position available with the cruise line just in case there is no opening in marketing. Please help. Thanks Since the job is with a cruise line, a good quality for you to emphasize would be that you have quality interactions with people. Whether the job is in marketing or anything else, cruise lines want to hire people who are "cruise customer" friendly. You need to give examples of how you are a friendly, service oriented person. By the way, it this instance, "marketing" may be direct selling in person or over the telephone to prospective cruise customers. Good luck! |
