Advertising Vacancy!!! Question for anyone!!!?

i am a 1st year university student in need to find a partner to live with in an apartment. I want to post an advertise ment or notice, however you call them at the university....

If you were me, what would you have on that poster, or notice??
name?? cost?? age??

let out your opinion..... be kind to be detailed and specific... if possible

If you had this sort of experience, plz share them.... thank you......

I would be as specific as possible in your advertisement. Your first name, the cost of the apartment are good things to have. You dont have to put in your age...but putting something like: Looking for roommate at blank university to share appt with. Preferably in [your] major.

the more specific you are the less likly you are to get someone you wont get along with.

Another option you could try is to talk to the housing people at campus, they may know of a student looking for something like your appt.
Simple

Wanted 1 roomate to share apartment give location X amount of dollars per month and if you prefer male or female.
Call 999-999-9999
your name
I would put my name, that I am a student, whether or not you want to live with children, how much you can afford to pay for rent, your marital status, and why you need this room. That ought to do it.
No names, no costs, no age.

Apartment to share,
XXX sq. feet 2 bedroom 2 bath
Clean and comfortable, close to school
Applications being accepted.
First, last, security

Make sure you are allowed to sub-rent the apartment.

Put your tenant on a month to month lease so if they are scummy. you can evict them. Study landlord tenant law.
If it was me, I would put looking for roommate that is around this age the sex if there is a preference ask for a smoker or not just put what you are looking for in a roommate. If you have no preferences then dont worry about it.
I would say swf or sbf looking for a live -in swf or sbf to share rent 50/50 plus share utilities experience. Nice Apt., Clean, non-smoking, no pets, no kids, near transportation, telephone # is and email address. Please call for additional information. Put your name here_____.
The most important thing in finding a roommate is stating the facts clearly.

State the Location of the apartment, the Cost per month, any deposits that may be required, average cost of utilities, the duration of the lease, and any preferences you may have in a roommate (gender, smoking, study habits, major鈥?. Don鈥檛 forget to provide your cell phone so that potential roommates can get in touch with you and be prepared to show the apartment to potential roommates upon request. Do it ASAP while people are still scrambling to get a place to live. Good luck
