Besides ads in magazines, or ads in newspapers, what are some ways to advertise? |
How can I get my product in the publics eyes, and let them know what it is, and where to get it? The simplest way is to make standard flyers, then photocopy them and hand them out, or leave them in places where it be natural to get the product you are selling. Make sure though that you have some kind of contact information on the flyer. Make the ad on the flyer in the most simplest language possible.. and make it concise (to the point). You can try to buy a time slot on tv. This isn't cheap, but you can try on whatever your local cable channel's channel is. Like by me, channel 1 and channel 8 are local channels specific to my town. You can try to advertise there. Or get a time slot on your public access channel. This costs way less than network TV. and you can write your own content. Ask the management at the mall for one of those kiosks. See how much it is to rent. You can display all your stuff right there. And even make a showcase/ demonstration so people will see it. Try to get a permit to have a demonstration on your local street. Or if in front of your house. you don't have to. Try to see if it'll work to throw one of those tupperware parties and go to people's houses and have a demonstration. If there is some kind of parade in your town, you can contact the organizers and rent a space to show your products too. Go online.. Create a Blog or even a online demonstration on YouTube or something like that. Use a lot of key words that are good to describe your product. Put it on EBAY.. put it everywhere. Lastly, word of mouth is a great way to advertise. Get your family and friends interested. Make sure that they know some of what your product is, but not everything.. Make sure that they know to refer you to whoever they tell. So that it's you that is in control and you who tells them everything about your product and answers all their questions. You wouldn't want one of your friends or relatives to say the wrong thing and then you end up losing a would be customer. magazines or ads in newspapers are the oldest mediums of advertising !! now the latest or the in-trend one being the search ads ,where you pay an amount to the search engine to show your company when someone searches for something related to your company ! then we have the emailers,Internet web site banners, fliers,advertisements on tables of restaurants,floor spaces in malls ,stairways of places where its seen ,and so many more depending on the produt that you want to market !!
