Referring people to my web site within an ebay ad?

In an ebay listing, within the body of my ad can I refer people to my web site without breaking any ebay rules and without incurring more fees. The idea is that people could see more items I may have for sale but do not want to list on ebay.

NO -- eBay considers that soliciting for off-ebay transactions which is against the rules. As you said so yourself -- you want to have sales but do not want to list on eBay -- and of course eBay does not like that (they want your money). Be careful in putting your website in your listing as others can report you.

It is better to create an ABOUT ME page where you post info about your website and then directing viewers and customers to your About Me page (and then hope that they click on your site to buy products)

Also it is useful to send your customer alongside with the item purchased a brochure about your website, with a note that they will get better product selection and better deals if they buy from your website instead of your ebay listing.
