Trying to come up with a new company name for a clothing company! Any ideas?? |
The family business is a small to medium sized garment embroidery & Print service, which we're trying to grow into a merchandising marketing service and eventually event management. Looking fo a short snappy name which can be grown into a brand. Thanks a mill.... It would help if you'd list some info about your company, area, family, etc. Could be a variation on the family surname: i.e. the Richardsons could be R.D.I. which for now could mean, "Richardson Designs Inc." but eventually be "Richardson Design Industries" or even "Reinvented Design Industries" Find words that work across several different definitions... Designs/Design is one of those, for now it means the garment designs, but eventually it could mean event designing (which might be a great new way of describing it - instead of event planning, it sounds much posher and more valuable to be "Event Designing") If you, say, live in the capitol city of your state, you could use Capitol Designs or something like that. If you live in a Valley, you could just call your company "Valley" or do something simple like that. Personally, I like the idea of initials that are versitile enough where you could always use the initals as your company name but as your company evolves, what they stand for can evolve too. Hm... more brainstorm stuff... Specialties/Specialized is another good word that can kinda evolve... your garments are specialized, eventually the events will be too. Custom is another good one. I do kinda like keeping the family name or something particular about your family or hometown in the name. That way when you're a big corporation or company, then you'll still have that tie to "way back when" you were just a startup. and someday that'll be a great story to tell on the "about us" section of your someday webpage... "Custom Clobber" "Natty Threads" Write On I dont know its the first thing that came to mind... |
