Computer Technician Advertising ???

Hi, I'm computer technician who live in the Los Angeles (Valley area).
I want to know that where do people usually look for computer technician advertisement ? where can I advertise to get more clients ?
for example if you are having a problem what u do ? who do u call and how ...

first, i check it in google. repair + laptop ... or if i want tuning like i type computer specialists - just two examples - but keep in mind that everyone uses different words to describe what they want.
second, i call a friend - 'hey Mark, do you know a place where they can make this and that to my comp'
if one and two fail, third, i buy a new one ;)
