When advertising commercials should i use fake addresses?
i am making DVDs of my companies advertising commercials to give to potential clients and was told not to use
123 yourinfohere Ave. Clyde NC. 28785 with our phone number, logo and website because people just dont understand that is where their information goes. I was told to make a bogus address, phone, website etc... is this true? although my boss appreciates the extra advertising, is it not understood that 123 yourinfohere Ave. doesn't mean place your info there???
The whole 123 yourinfohere is beat. If you have the time/resources, try to customize each DVD for the client. Or use your comp's real address, or make up a general fake one. If the potential clients can't figure out that it can be customzied with their info, that's THEIR problem/ |
