I have an assignment in a Marketing class.? |
It wants me to write about my knowldge in marketing, but i dont have none cause i have never worked. Can someone please tell me what is their role in a Marketing position. Marketing is getting the right product and selling to the right person at the right time and right price. Well, if you don't know anything, write that you don't know anything and you're excited to learn. You know marketing is about selling things, so talk about that. Make up some bullshit. Look in the textbook for vocabulary and buzzwords. Do you watch tv? Read magazines? Drive down the road? Listen to the radio? If so, you know some things about marketing, because there are commercials on tv and radio, adds in magazines and billboards beside the road. If you have an assignment in class, then you've been to class, so there has to be some knowledge there also. I loved my marketing classes, most are opinion questions anyway. This is an opinion, how can you go wrong with "write what you know"? Other than writing what someone else knows that is... Just try not to use double negatives in your paper. Could get you a bad grade right off the bat! If you have ever sold anything talk about what you did to entice the person to buy it. Did you plan ahead of what you were going to say? Did you think about who you were going to try to sell it too? Discuss how you advertised. Marketing is all about selling an idea or product. Something as simple as selling your old bike could be a beginning example of marketing. If the phrase "marketing" seems scary just substitute the idea of the "process of selling". Keep it simple.
