i saw this purse i really want. i bid on it but this other lady wants it too. she has a automatic bid or something like that. so everytime i bet she goes up higher. Does anyone have tips to beat her so I can win? Any response will be appreciated! Two things, first bid as high as you can. Here's how it works, you bid $100 for an item, someone else has already bid $75, you bid shows as $76. No one knows you bid up to $100. See? Then wait until the last 33 seconds and put in your final bid. I win almost everytime. I do set limits for myself. But I got the Betty Boop purse I wanted ! gots of luck! You have to put the highest amount that you are willing to pay for the purse...say the bid is currently 20 and your willing to pay 100...put 100 and your next bid will be like 20.50 if someone else is willing to pay 50 then your next bid would be like 50.50 and so forth...... If it is avaliable on buy now, buy it. Otherwise, keep bidding and try to automatic bid, like she is. Or the best thing to do is contact ebay. well let her think she winning and when it 2min and 30seconds before it close bid! and she wont notice she'll just think she winning! but you have won i done it many time it good if u want something and other person wont stop fighting for it! You need to put in your maximum highest bid to start. Another words, the most you would be willing to spend on this purse. Don't forget to figure in shipping costs also. Another tip is to check and see if there are more of the same purse on eBay. Sometimes the seller has more than one listed and you can stop bidding against that lady and bid on another one and get it cheaper. Or another seller has one listed. Good luck and happy ebaying! Ebaying since 2000! no auto-bid. it doesnt show how much money she bid on it. say, the purse is at 9.99 when she bid on it, then shes willing to pay 19.99 for it. so she'll put 19.99 in the biding thing. it won't show how much she bid. and it'll keep increaseing untill you type in more money than she did. hard to explan. just keep bidding in small amounts, till you don't want it anymore. |
