How can I get online readers to read my short stories of urban erotica? |
I intend to charge $2 per story which will be about 2 pages long and they will center around the sexual misadventures of a urban young woman and her many partners. My questions is how do I solicit an audience and make a growing fan base? Can I advertise the stories for free somewhere online or get some kind of web site going? Also, I intend to use paypal for payments from the readers or is there a better source? Thanks in advance everyone, email me for your free copy! There is a website called, writing.com, which has a lot of different options for writers of all types. You will have a hard time getting $1 per page for any online article. There is no shortage of free erotic writing on the internet. As an example, I can get nearly unlimited erotic stories from Nifty.org at no charge. Not only that, but it seems that you don't have much selection. You will basically have only one storyline, if I understand you correctly. To think that people will pay to read it is ...optimistic. Very optimistic. I don't mean to bring you down, but I have spent the last year or so investigating ways to get my erotica published. There simply isn't a good way to make consistent money selling it on the web. Sorry. I would build up your fan base first by giving away FREE "tasters" this will get people interested in your work you can set up a site which or post your stories at www.vinegarstrokes.com once you have built up your fanbase then direct your fans to your site where you can charge for your work. although i do believe that $2 per story is a bit overpriced given the content that is out there at the moment for much less. www.vinegarstrokes.com |
