You can also start by handing out a giveaway with your company name on it in a local street fair, show, etc. Cheap items such as pens, keytags, cups, etc. Try Best Buy Imprints for giveaways.

Also, do some free stuff for some festival in town to get your name out there.
Free stuff anywhere there is a gathering of people with children, even a fund raiser car wash. Anywhere you can be seen. Have business cards printed to hand out.
